Script error: No such module "Infobox".Script error: No such module "Italic title". Το Νησί Πέρα από την Ακτή είναι ένα ιστορικό μυθιστόρημα από την συγγραφέα Αγγελοπούλου Γιώτα. Το βιβλίο κυκλοφορεί στην ελληνική και αγγλική γλώσσα (The Island Beyond the Coast) από την αγγλική εταιρεία Mythworld Entertainment[1] , η οποία έχει τη διαχείριση των πνευματικών δικαιωμάτων σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο. Η πρώτη παγκόσμια παρουσίαση πραγματοποιήθηκε τον Ιούνιο του 2017, στο Δημοτικό Θέατρο Πειραιά[2], σε εκδήλωση με προσωπικότητες του δημοσιογραφικού, επιχειρηματικού, λογοτεχνικού και καλλιτεχνικού κόσμου.

Ατμόπλοια καπνίζουν στο λιμάνι του Πειραιά, οι επιβάτες τους πηγαίνουν στο Λαζαρέτο για την καραντίνα, μουλάρια και άμαξες σταθμεύουν στις αποβάθρες περιμένοντας τους ταξιδιώτες για να τους μεταφέρουν στην Αθήνα... Παντού φωνές από αγριοπούλια και μουσική από τις ορχήστρες των πλοίων επάνω στο λόφο της Καστέλλας... και κάπου στην Ακρόπολη, η φρουρά στην πύλη διαμαρτύρεται στους επισκέπτες της...
Το βιβλίο προβάλλει με μυθιστορηματικό ύφος την αυθεντική εικόνα της ζωής στην Αθήνα, τον Πειραιά και σε άλλα μέρη της Ελλάδας, μέσα από σημαντικά ιστορικά γεγονότα, τα οποία διαδραματίστηκαν στη διάρκεια του 19ου αιώνα και αποτυπώθηκαν με τα πιο έντονα χρώματα στα πρωτότυπα χρονικά και τις αυτοβιογραφίες 95 ξένων περιηγητών.
Η συγγραφέας, με τη βοήθεια των δύο βασικών αφηγητών-ηρώων της, τον Χανς Κρίστιαν Άντερσεν και τον Μπάγιαρντ Τέιλορ (Bayard Taylor), συνθέτει το ψηφιδωτό τής ελληνικής κοινωνίας του 19ου αιώνα συνδέοντας με ευρηματικό τρόπο και με τόνους ρομαντισμού και αναπόλησης, όλες τις πληροφορίες των περιηγητών επικαλούμενη τις αυθεντικές μαρτυρίες, αναμνήσεις, προβληματισμούς και εντυπώσεις τους για την Ελλάδα και τους Έλληνες εκείνης της εποχής. Μεταξύ των περιηγητών, που παρουσιάζονται με δικές τους αφηγήσεις στο βιβλίο, είναι γνωστοί συγγραφείς όπως η Σουηδή Φρεντρίκα Μπρέμερ και ο Αμερικανός Μαρκ Τουαίην, καθώς και ο Τσαρλς Τάκερμαν (Charles Keating Tuckerman), ο πρώτος Αμερικανός πρέσβης, κάτοικος Ελλάδας.
Ο Χανς Κρίστιαν Άντερσεν είναι ο βασικός αφηγητής-ήρωας του πρώτου μέρους του βιβλίου, ενώ ο Μπάγιαρντ Τέιλορ του δεύτερου. Οι δυο τους γνωρίζονταν μεταξύ τους, ωστόσο, την Ελλάδα ο Άντερσεν την είχε επισκεφθεί κατά τη διάρκεια του πρώτου μισού του 19ου αιώνα, ενώ ο Τέιλορ του δεύτερου. Έτσι, ο καθένας τους έχει το δικό του μερίδιο αφήγησης, χωρίς αυτό να σημαίνει ότι ο ένας δεν ταξιδεύει στα χρόνια του άλλου, όπως και στα προγενέστερα, ακόμα και μέχρι τα ένδοξα χρόνια της αρχαίας Ελλάδας. Η αφήγησή τους έχει εξομολογητικό ύφος, σχόλια κι εσωτερικό μονόλογο. Τα γεγονότα κλιμακώνονται χωρίς να ακολουθείται ομαλή χρονολογική σειρά, η οποία συχνά διακόπτεται για να εξιστορηθούν γεγονότα του προγενέστερου ή μεταγενέστερου παρελθόντος. Οι διηγήσεις διατυπώνονται όπως ακριβώς αναφέρονται στη σχετική ξένη βιβλιογραφία, µε αυθεντικές υποκειμενικές πληροφορίες, σκέψεις και απόψεις των ξένων περιηγητών.
Με λίγα λόγια[επεξεργασία]
Ο Χανς Κρίστιαν Άντερσεν[3], βαθιά λυπηµένος από αναπάντεχα γεγονότα στη ζωή του, το φθινόπωρο του 1865 αποφασίζει να ταξιδέψει στη Στοκχόλµη για να συναντήσει την αγαπηµένη του φίλη, Φρεντρίκα Μπρέμερ[4]. Η συνάντηση µαζί της και το θλιβερό γεγονός που θα ακολουθήσει τον κάνουν να αναπολήσει το παρελθόν του και τις ξεχωριστές στιγµές που έζησε στις περιπλανήσεις του στην Αθήνα και τον Πειραιά το 1841. Με την αστείρευτη φαντασία του αποκαλύπτει εντυπωσιακά γεγονότα, που διαδραματίστηκαν στον τόπο εκείνο και που ποτέ δεν έτυχε να γράψει γι’ αυτά.
Στο αφηγηματικό ταξίδι του τον συνοδεύει ο Αµερικανός συγγραφέας και ποιητής Μπάγιαρντ Τέιλορ. Το 1856, κατεβαίνοντας από την Αρκτική ζώνη, επισκέπτεται τον Χανς Κρίστιαν Άντερσεν στην Κοπεγχάγη και μετά ταξιδεύει στην Ελλάδα κάνοντας πραγµατικότητα την δυνατή επιθυµία που είχε από παιδί. Ξεδιπλώνοντας συναισθήµατα, γεγονότα και εικόνες από την Αθήνα, τον Πειραιά, την Κρήτη και αλλού, η Ελλάδα στα μάτια του Τέιλορ φάνταζε ως το “γήπεδο ποδοσφαίρου όλης της Ευρώπης”, όπως ακριβώς ήταν γραμμένο το σύνθημα µε µαύρη µπογιά επάνω στο µνηµείο του Καραϊσκάκη.
Εκδήλωση παρουσίασης[επεξεργασία]
Την εκδήλωση συντόνισε η δημοσιογράφος Ειρήνη Νικολοπούλου, η οποία μεταξύ άλλων τόνισε χαρακτηριστικά: «Το βιβλίο έχει γυναικεία γραφή και εξαντλητική έρευνα. Έχει ρεπορτάζ που μου θύμισε πολύ τον αείμνηστο δάσκαλό μου, τον Φρέντυ Γερμανό, όταν έγραφε ένα βιβλίο. Είναι κοσμοπολιτικό και ταυτόχρονα παιδαγωγικό χωρίς να χάνει όμως ούτε στιγμή την ποιητικότητα της περιγραφής του.»[5]
Την εκδήλωση προλόγισε η Εντεταλμένη Δημοτική Σύμβουλος Πολιτισμού του Δήμου Πειραιά, κ. Ειρήνη Νταϊφά, ενώ απεύθυναν χαιρετισμό οι εκπρόσωποι των φορέων που έχουν θέσει υπό την αιγίδα τους το βιβλίο: ο Γενικός Διευθυντής του Ελληνοαμερικανικού Επιμελητηρίου, κ. Ηλίας Σπυρτούνιας, ο Αντιπρόεδρος του Ελληνοκινεζικού Επιμελητηρίου, κ. Κωνσταντίνος Κατσιγιάννης, ο Πρόεδρος του Εμπορικού Συλλόγου Πειραιά και Διοικητικό Όργανο του Ε.Β.Ε.Π., κ. Νίκος Μανεσιώτης, καθώς και ο Πρόεδρος του Ομίλου για την UNESCO Πειραιώς και Νήσων, κ. Ιωάννης Μαρωνίτης. Όλοι μίλησαν για την πρωτοτυπία του βιβλίου και τον σκοπό του να ενισχύσει την τουριστική, πολιτιστική και εκπαιδευτική προοπτική της Ελλάδας μέσα από την διάδοση της ιστορίας και της πολιτιστικής κληρονομιάς.
Η παρουσίαση του βιβλίου πλαισιώθηκε από προβολή βίντεο προηγμένης τεχνολογίας, παραγωγής Mythworld Entertainment, αναβιώνοντας στα μάτια των καλεσμένων 200 χρόνια ιστορίας και πολιτισμού. Η εκδήλωση συνοδεύτηκε από απονομή τιμητικού επαίνου στη συγγραφέα από τον Πρόεδρο του Ομίλου για την UNESCO Πειραιώς και Νήσων, για την προσφορά της στον πολιτισμό μέσα από τις σελίδες του βιβλίου της.
Την επιμέλεια του βιβλίου στην ελληνική και αγγλική γλώσσα έχει η κ. Σοφία Αργυρίου, Διδάκτορας του τμήματος Πολιτικής Επιστήμης και Ιστορίας του Παντείου Πανεπιστημίου, ενώ εικαστικός δημιουργός του εξωφύλλου και των ενθέσεων του βιβλίου είναι ο γνωστός ζωγράφος Βαγγέλης Τζερμιάς.«Η συγγραφέας παρατηρεί, θέλγεται από τους δυο περιηγητές, τον Χανς Κρίστιαν Άντερσεν και τον Μπάγιαρντ Τέιλορ, αξιοποιεί τις εμπειρίες τους, ακριβολογεί χωρίς να μυθοποιεί, ανασυνθέτει ένα πλούσιο υλικό, αντλεί από μια σπουδαία παρακαταθήκη, μας χαρίζει ένα όμορφο ταξιδιωτικό μυθιστόρημα και καθίσταται αφηγήτρια περιηγητικών κειμένων σημαντικών για την ιστορία του νεότερου Ελληνισμού», τόνισε η κ. «Η φρουρά της Ακρόπολης εµφανίστηκε στην πύλη. Την αποτελούσαν τέσσερις Έλληνες. Διαµαρτυρηθήκαµε και µας άνοιξαν. Διασχίσαµε µια µεγάλη αυλή, περάσαµε µια µεγάλη πόρτα και σταθήκαµε στο κατάλευκο µαρµάρινο κράσπεδο µε τα βαθιά αποτυπώµατα ποδιών. Μπροστά µας στο διάχυτο φως του φεγγαριού υψώνονταν τα οµορφότερα ερείπια που είχαµε δει ποτέ: τα Προπύλαια, ένας µικρός ναός της Αθηνάς και ο µεγαλειώδης Παρθενώνας. Όλα είχαν χτιστεί από το λευκότερο πεντελικό µάρµαρο, αλλά είχαν απαλές ροζ κηλίδες επάνω τους. Καθώς περιπλανιόµασταν προσεκτικά κατά µήκος του µαρµάρινου πλακόστρωτου του ναού, ολόκληρη η εικόνα γύρω µας ήταν παράξενα εντυπωσιακή. Εδώ κι εκεί έλαµπαν πολλά ολόλευκα αγάλµατα ανδρών και γυναικών στερεωµένα σε κοµµάτια µαρµάρου, µερικά χωρίς χέρια, κάποια χωρίς πόδια, άλλα ακέφαλα, όμως όλα έδειχναν µελαγχολικά στο φως του φεγγαριού κι εκπληκτικά ανθρώπινα! Στέκονταν και µας κοιτούσαν µε τα πέτρινα µάτια τους µέσα από κρυφές γωνιές και εσοχές. Μας κρυφοκοίταζαν επάνω από τους σωρούς, χαµηλά στους έρηµους διαδρόµους, εµπόδιζαν τον δρόµο µας και µας έδειχναν µε σοβαρότητα και χωρίς χέρια το δρόµο µακριά από τα ιερά κτίσµατα. Και µέσα από τον ξεσκέπαστο ναό, το φεγγάρι σηµάδευε το πάτωµα και σκοτείνιαζε µε τις λοξές σκιές των κιόνων τα διάσπαρτα κοµµάτια και τα σπασµένα αγάλµατα.
Πόσα κατεστραµµένα γλυπτά υπήρχαν τριγύρω µας! Στηµένα σε σειρές, στοιβαγµένα σε σωρούς, σκορπισµένα σε όλη την έκταση της Ακρόπολης, υπήρχαν εκατοντάδες ακρωτηριασµένα αγάλµατα της πιο εξαιρετικής ποιότητας και όλων των µεγεθών και τεράστια µαρµάρινα κοµµάτια, που κάποτε ανήκαν στους θριγκούς, µε ανάγλυφα που αναπαριστούσαν µάχες και πολιορκίες, πολεµικά πλοία µε τρεις και τέσσερις σειρές κουπιών, ποµπές και τελετές, οτιδήποτε µπορούσε κανείς να σκεφτεί.
Βγήκαµε έξω στην αυλή, πέρα από τον Παρθενώνα, µε το χορτάρι και τα σκόρπια µάρµαρα. Ο τόπος έµοιαζε ζωντανός να κατοικείται από φαντάσµατα. Περίµενα να δω τους ήρωες της Αθήνας είκοσι αιώνες πριν να γλιστρούν έξω από τις σκιές και να µπαίνουν στο ναό που γνώριζαν τόσο καλά και σέβονταν µε απέραντη περηφάνια.»
