Αθανάσιος Σελιά
Script error: No such module "Infobox". Ο Αθανάσιος Σελιά (Athanasio Celia) είναι Έλληνας ζωγράφος, συγγραφέας και εκτιμητής έργων τέχνης. Είναι ο ιδρυτής του «Καθετισμού - Βερτικαλισμού» ( αγγλικά : “Verticalismus”).[1][2][3][4][5][6]Με τον όρο αυτόν χαρακτηρίζεται η θεωρία των έργων τέχνης του, τα οποία κυριαρχούνται από κάθετες γραμμές και τα οποία είναι γνωστά και ως "Safe Art" (δηλαδή "ασφαλή τέχνη"), διότι είναι επεξεργασμένα με τη φωτιά και γι' αυτό τον λόγο δεν μπορούν να πλαστογραφηθούν.[7][8][9]Παράλληλα ο Σελιά έχει αφιερωθεί και στην πορτραιτογραφία.[10][11] Σαν "Έλληνας καλλιτέχνης και ειδικός της τέχνης" (Reuters)[12] ή "Παρισινός ζωγράφος και ιστορικός τέχνης" (The Guardian)[13] έγινε παγκοσμίως γνωστός για τις δραστηριότητές του την εποχή 1992 -2008. Επίσης έδωσε συνεντεύξεις σε μεγάλα διεθνή οπτικοακουστικά μέσα όπως Reuters, BBC και άλλα.[14][15][16][17]
Ζωγράφος: Ο Αθανάσιος Σελιά γεννήθηκε στην Γερμανία.[18]Άρχισε να εκθέτει στα μέσα της δεκαετίας του '80[19] και μετοίκησε στο Παρίσι στη δεκαετία του '90.[20][21][22][23][24]Το 1991 η γκαλερί του στο Παρίσι τον σύστησε ως τον πιο νέο καθιερωμένο ζωγράφο του Παρισιού[25]και αργότερα το ίδιο έτος ακολούθησε η έκθεσή του στο μουσείο του Μονάχου (Haus der Kunst).[26]¨Οταν το 1998 για πρώτη φορά εγκαταστάθηκε στην Ελλάδα τον καλωσόρισε ο Ελληνικός τύπος ως έναν από τους πιο ακριβούς ζωγράφους και ως ιδρυτή του "Βερτικαλισμού".[27][28][29][30][31][32][33]Ο Αθανάσιος Σελιά είναι επίσης γνωστός για το φιλανθρωπικό του έργο.[34][35][36]
Αξιοσημείωτο είναι το γεγονός ότι ο Αθανάσιος Σελιά έπαιξε τον κύριο και βασικό ρόλο (τον ρόλο κλειδί) ώστε να επιστρέψει το αρχαίο χρυσό Μακεδονικό στεφάνι από το μουσείο Γκετύ των Η.Π.Α. στη Ελλάδα το 2007.[37][38]Ένα διεθνώς βραβευμένο ντοκυμαντέρ με το θέμα προβλήθηκε αρκετές φορές από την Ελληνική κρατική τηλεόραση.[39]
Επίσης αξιοσημείωτα είναι ότι ο Ζάκ Σιράκ την εποχή που ήταν ακόμη δήμαρχος του Παρισιού και πριν γίνει Πρόεδρος της Γαλλίας είχε αγοράσει έργο του εν λόγω καλλιτέχνη για το δημαρχείο του Παρισιού[40][41], και ότι η επιστημονική μελέτη του περί απόδειξης της ύπαρξης του Θεού είναι εγγεγραμμένη στον Γερμανικό Πανεπιστημιακό Θεολογικό Κώδικα - Index Theologicus.[42]
Προς τιμήν του η πρώτη μεγάλη μονοήμερη δημοπρασία - αποκλειστικά και μόνο με έργα τέχνης του Αθανασίου Σελιά - έλαβε χώρα στην Γερμανία το 1995.[43]
